Spearheaded by local employees, Scotiabank recently presented $150,000 to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre for Children and Youth in Whitby, Ont. Juvenile diabetes is among the most common childhood diseases, and the centre currently provides support to all juvenile diabetes patients in Durham Region.
