Junior Achievement of Toronto & York Region (JATYR) was founded in 1968 by the Young Presidents Organization to provide curriculum-enhancing programs to the region’s Public, Catholic, French, and private school systems. Now celebrating its 33rd anniversary, Junior Achievement of Toronto & York Region is the largest of Canada’s 32 charters, with programs having reached more than 300,000 students.

By partnering the education and business communities, Junior Achievement of Toronto & York Region is able to give students the edge they need when entering the workforce. Through innovative, interactive programs taught by qualified volunteers, Junior Achievement succeeds in encouraging students to stay in school and to develop valuable entrepreneurial, leadership and life skills.
