Since 1997, the Michael Cuccione Foundation has raised funds to provide financial support for clinical and scientific researchers whom are investigating the causes of childhood cancer as well as improving treatment strategies. Each year close to $1 million is raised.
These funds are administered in memory of late Michael James Cuccione to various children's hospitals throughout Canada and the United States including BC Children's Hospital, Alberta's Children's Hospital, Toronto's Sick Kids and Schneider Children's Hospital.

Although Michael, a cancer-survivor, passed away in January 2001 due to respiratory complications, his dream of eradicating this disease lives on through all of the individuals he continues to inspire.
