ASSET INC. NAMED 50 BEST FOR SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Toronto, CANADA (February, 13, 2007) – ASSET Inc. named as one of Canada's 50 Best-Managed Companies for the sixth consecutive year, at the 14th annual awards night at the Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto.
This prestigious honour was awarded to ASSET Inc. for the sixth consecutive year, as one of Canada 's 50 Best Managed Companies. The 14th annual award program was held at a black-tie gala evening on February 12th, at the Westin Harbour Castle where Best Managed winners celebrated the success with their executive management teams and fellow honourees.
The Canada 's 50 Best Managed Companies program was created in 1993 to recognize successful Canadian companies that have proven to be innovative, responsive to changing economic conditions and profitable. The program profiles Canadian companies that have outstripped their competitors, created thousands of jobs, produced accelerating revenues and excelled both domestically as well as in foreign markets. The National Post, Deloitte, CIBC, and Queen's University sponsor the award.
“Once again we are delighted to be sharing the spotlight with so many successful Canadian companies. When we received this honour for the first time six years ago it was a terrific achievement. Now that we have achieved this honor for the sixth time; it demonstrates our ability to create long term business value by leveraging new technology while adapting to change. It is also a reflection of the commitment of our customers, and the competence of our employees and their ability to continually improve the levels of service and innovation that we deliver everyday to our valued clients.” said William Meany, President of ASSET.
“2006 was an exceptional year for ASSET, … I am elated with our continued growth through the successful entry into new international markets as well our success penetrating new verticals within the domestic market….However, it is the continued support and commitment from our existing customers that is a testament to our cutting edge technology, clear business value, and most importantly – our people.”
In 2006 ASSET completed major enhancements across all product lines and core infrastructure. These upgrades were successfully launched incrementally throughout the year with zero customer downtime and widespread customer acclaim. “The ultimate outcome of these enhancements is a new version of our system offering tight integration across products and improved capacity to support the needs of our customers- who are the largest lenders in both Canada and abroad. Our customers recognize that ASSET is committed to continuing to provide unprecedented system availability - both today and through the increased volumes associated with a downturn in the economy.”
ASSET continues to expand its workforce, client base, and service offerings both domestically and internationally, with several new initiatives at various stages of delivery that will continue to bring significant growth to the company.
