Outstanding Employer of the Year Award
Toronto, Canada (September 16, 2010) - Eunice Mouckley presented the JVS Mouckley Outstanding Employer of the Year Award to ASSET Inc. president William Meany and HR Director Mery Grubisic at the JVS Annual General Meeting in Toronto, Ontario last evening. Eunice Mouckley represents the Eunice and David Mouckley Endowment Fund, a significant planned donor to JVS. ASSET Inc. was recognized for its leading commitment to JVS employment programs. ASSET is a leading employer of JVS referrals. In her speech at the AGM, Eunice Mouckley cited ASSET’s hiring of some of JVS’s more difficult placement candidates, including a 60+ female who despite a disability was successfully hired by ASSET. ASSET’s president William Meany commented - “ASSET’s commitment to employment diversity will continue to be cornerstone of our HR policies – we have benefited from a full range of employees, and it is their commitment to success that adds to and strengthens our own”.
